LADY DARKNESS

Well last night I decided as I seem to be the only one not playing TERA I'd try to make TERA come to Second life & I think I achieved that challenge.

I will say now a few of the items I'm not going to say where they come from, I know I'm a blogger & I get asked things all the time where I get certain pieces of clothing ect but just because I'm a blogger I do occasionally love to be a little unique.

The outfit I am wearing is the new release called "Nightblood Lady" from the awesome :: B@R :: I swear this store does something for everyone & it is at the very top of my shops I love in second life. When you receive the folder it comes with lots of extras (Wings - Tail - Fork - Horns) it is an complete outfit so it also has shoes but I decided I just wanted to use the clothes for this post.

The hair is from "Action" & is named "Womens Hair Cheyenne - Bleached" the hairs at Action are really lovely high quality so it was a no brainer to use for this outfit.

I am sorry I'm not going to list full credits apart from the outfit & hair but as I said I'd like to keep this look slightly personal so thank you for understanding.

DETECTIVE CORE

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well that are reading this.

I would like to draw your attention today to a couple named "Zaros Xue" & "Kealani Jupiter" creators & owners of "Victex Industries". Not only do they make products for their own company they also design & build for other companies in second life.

Alot of their products they make are sold through other merchants, they design & build alot of TARDIS consoles from the TV series Doctor Who. They now build TARDIS consoles out of mesh they also have a cell-shaded line of consoles that will be released soon along side the mesh ones. For any "Whovians" out there they should be extremely excited at this news, their products are amazing with high quality textures.

"Novelli Noir will also be selling tiny versions of our cell-shaded consoles" - A Quote from "Zaros Xue" regarding their cell-shaded line that will be released soon.

The little fellow you seen on my shoulder in the photos is their own product "Detective Core" when I first got him I read it as "Defective Core" that's my own dyslexia messing that up oopsie so when I saw a little hat on him I was confused until I re-read his name. (His hate is so darn cute!!!)

The construction of the cores is done by "Zaros Xue" & "Kealani Jupiter".

Scripting is by "ShortPieceOf String" & some use of Puppeteer.

Voiced by "Scorium Silvershade"

I cant take this little guy off, in the folder you can have the

-Normal Shoulder Core
-No Reactions Shoulder Core
-Normal Rez-able Core
-No Reactions Rez-able Core

When you wear the normal shoulder core, if you don't touch him he just looks around, moving on his own but if you click on him once he says 1 out of 36 random comments. For any Portal fan (Like me as you are all aware) he is an AWESOME little friend & he looks like he just got plucked straight out of the game & had a little detective hat placed on him.

The sculpts are stunning, I was zooming my camera through his little round body for a good couple of minuets taken a look at his insides. The textures are extremely high quality & are not pixalted when you zoom in. I adore him, the comments he comes out with make me chuckle. You really need to pick this little dude up. Their in world store is not complete at the moment but they do have a marketplace store.

Today I bring you owner of "Mesh Market" "Tristen Starsider" I have 2 items I wanted to show you at the moment of the sort of items he poses of pre made models.

The top photo I am wearing his awesome "Mesh Head Crab" which is based off the killer alien crabs from Half Life. You must obey the head crab! all the items are highly designed & have high quailty textures, its a true pleasure to walk around with such wonderful mesh items.

The second photo you can see me in my Alice Madness Returns avatar which I previously reviewed ( http://aeonflux.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/alice-madness.html ) I have completely fallen in love with this model called "Mesh Black Cat" which as you can see is based off Cheshire from the Alice game.

He fits perfectly on your back it took me less then 3 seconds to adjust him as the avatar is quite short so I had to bring him in closer to my back. The bonus is all his items are SUPER cheap, I mean this Cheshire back pal is only LS$150, a mesh of this high detail would be going normally for LS500+ for what I've seen so its a lovely item for very cheap.

I really urge you to take a look at his marketplace store as he has alot of full permissions objects that are really cheap. Click on my super duper speedy link to his marketplace, I promise you wont leave that store without buying something.

SKY CAPTAIN

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all well that are reading this. Today's review will be about one of my passions STEAMPUNK!

I happened upon a creator last night & I've fallen in love with his creations. His name is "Noddington Schmooz" & hes the owner & creator of "The Land of Nodd". Now if your a fan of Steampunk his store is truly worth a visit, I promise you wont be disappointed.

The outfit I'm wearing today in the photo is called "Steampunk Flight Officer's Uniform" it comes with everything you see on me APART from the eye patch & the belt. When you get the folder it has a tattoo layer for your face so it looks sooty & dirty, it comes with 3 different ways to wear the goggles (Face - Head - Neck) It also comes with 2 different sizes of Control Bracer for your wrist, I just wore the smaller size bracer & detached the glove cuff.

The jet pack that I'm wearing has to be one of the coolest things I've seen in second life for steampunk fans. When you fly flames & smoke come out of the exhausts at the side also it has blue lights that run up & down the jet pack but when you cancel fly mode the lights turn red like its going into shut down mode which I personally think is a really nice touch.

It took me a couple of mins to modify the cap & headphones but that's only because I was wearing spiky styled hair so a little adjustment to the hair & the cap & TADA! I'm looking hot & steamy (that pun was totally intended lol)

If your looking for high quality steampunk furniture/items or steampunk clothing you should take my super duper fast taxi to "The Land of Nodd" now & grab up some gear, I can see I'm going to be running around in this captain outfit for a while pretending I'm from the film "Sky Captain World of Tomorrow"

ALICE MADNESS

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well that are reading this. As you know I've been away from blogging for a while due to real life hectic-ness but I'm back on top form & have a lovely gift for you all.

My gift to you is a new creator I stumbled on by chance & I'm so excited that I did. I would like to introduce you to "Catwoman Ember" (such a epic name, love it) creator of the wonderful Alice Madness Mesh Avatars. The avatar that I am wearing in the photo is called " Alice Hatter Mesh Avatar"

I am completly in love with this avatar & also the rest of Catwoman's Alice Madness mesh collection. There are 12 different Alice avatars in the store also 1 avatar named "Alice Default" has 3 different versions in 1 pack. When you receive the pack it contains (Alpha Layer - Alice Shape - Alice Hatter Mesh - Notecard) The note card is really handy so I advise you to read it as it tells you what store the hair comes from. Each avatar costs LS$1,000 but the default pack with 3 versions in it costs LS$2,000.

I wanted to share this creator's work with the secondlife world as there are so many Alice Madness fans & I've not been able to find a really amazing avatar before of Alice until now. I will be watching this creator very closely as her items as very high quailty & I am looking forward to seeing what future creations she will be releasing to the secondlife world.
